Chinese media name glyphosate waste polluter

Chinese media have named Hangzhou Rongsheng Chemical as the Chinese company reportedly contracted to handle glyphosate herbicide waste from Zhejiang Wynca Chemical, and under investigation for a case of suspected environmental pollution (Agrow No 667, p 2). Hangzhou Rongsheng Chemical has on several occasions released glyphosate wastewater directly into the historic Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, causing phosphorus levels in the water to soar, a report in the national Chinese newspaper, the Dongfang Daily, claims.
