Exosect receives $4 million funding
The UK pest management company, Exosect (Winchester, Hampshire), has received funding of $4 million. The investment comes from its existing investor base and from the social entrepreneurs funding network, ClearlySo. Exosect will continue with its strategy of following an open innovation model by focusing on the co-development of a range of pipeline solutions based upon its platform electrostatic wax powder technology, Entostat, and out-licensing specific product applications and product registrations. “We have demonstrated its [Entostat’s] potential as a sustainable delivery system for a wide range of applications, from grain and seed protectants to higher efficiency conventional pesticide reformulations,” says managing director Martin Brown.
