New ISO pesticide names OK'd
The ISO Technical Committee on Common Names for Pesticides provisionally approved three new active ingredient names this month. Napropamide-M is the R-isomer of the amide herbicide, napropamide, from United Phosphorus. Picarbutrazox is a carbamate fungicide being developed as NF-171 by Nippon Soda. Triflumezopyrim is an insecticide from DuPont under development as DPX-RAB55.
