New Zealand mulls topramezone imports
The New Zealand Environmental Protection Authority is considering an application from BASF to import the herbicide, Arietta (topramezone), for use on maize and sweetcorn. It would be recommended for use at 67.2 g ai/ha. The product offers significant economic benefits to growers through the management of difficult-to-control weeds, BASF notes. The application is open to public comment until October 4th.
