Expanded US approval for Syngenta's Vibrance

Syngenta has received expanded US approval for its sedaxane fungicide-based seed treatment, Vibrance, for use on maize and more than 30 other crops. The company gained US approval for three sedaxane-based seed treatments for use on small-grain cereals, soybeans and canola last year (Agrow No 643, p 18).  Vibrance will be sold in combination with the established seed treatment, Maxim Quattro (metalaxyl-M + fludioxonil + azoxystrobin + thiabendazole), for use on maize for "best in class" control of Rhizoctonia spp, Syngenta points out.
