Developing agchem markets dominate in 2010
Increased agrochemical sales in developing regions resulted in combined revenues in Latin America and Asia exceeding those in North America and Europe last year, according to UK consultancy Agranova. Agrochemical sales in Latin America and Asia accounted for nearly 48% of global sales of $40,737 million at the manufacturer level in 2010. That compares with some 46% for North America and Europe combined. The combined figures were 45% and 49%, respectively, a year earlier.
