ECPA offers support for ai tests in water
The European Crop Protection Association (ECPA) has launched a project to provide certified laboratories with reference compounds and analytical expertise for use when monitoring water for agrochemicals. The aim is to improve the transparency, quality and reliability of monitoring data. The limited availability of analytical standards for active ingredients, and particularly for metabolites, causes "severe hurdles" in running monitoring programmes, the ECPA says. Its analytical standards project is a voluntary initiative, through which the ECPA's corporate members will provide certified material free of charge.
