US beekeepers/greens want court to hear neonic suit
Beekeepers and environmental groups in the US have urged a federal judge not to dismiss their suit challenging the EPA's approval of two neonicotinoid insecticides, arguing that they have provided clear evidence supporting their allegations that the Agency violated federal law. "There is no basis for the court to exempt EPA's continued violations from judicial scrutiny," the plaintiffs write in their November 4th brief. "EPA's attempts to dismiss the case for lack of subject matter or insufficient pleading should be rejected."
