Bayer opens non-crop pesticide R&D unit in Brazil
Bayer CropScience opened a new R&D facility for its non-crop pesticide Environmental Science business in Paulinia, Brazil last month. The 1 km2 complex will serve Latin America's professional, home and garden, and grain storage pesticide markets, as well as public health demands such as vector control. The facility will employ seven staff biologists and an agronomist. It will deliver greater flexibility in developing laboratory and field trials. The complex will include a formulation and product analysis chamber, a product technology application room, and a pest diet area.
