China extends pyridine dumping measures
China's Ministry of Commerce will levy anti-dumping duties on imports of the agrochemical intermediate, pyridine, originating from India and Japan for the next five years. The final decision comes after an investigation was launched in September last year and provisional anti-dumping duties were declared this June. The dumping margins remain unchanged from the provisional measures issued earlier this year (Agrow No 665, p 21). The anti-dumping duties will be in force from this month. Chinese pyridine producer Nanjing Redsun says that the decision should prove beneficial to the sustained operation of the company's pyridine business.
