Syngenta to sell Stockton biofungicide in Chile and Mexico
The Stockton Group has entered into an agreement with Syngenta for the supply and distribution of Stockton's biofungicide, Timorex Gold, in Chile and Mexico. Timorex Gold is based on an extract of tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia). Syngenta will distribute Timorex Gold in Chile for the control of bacterial and fungal diseases on grapevines, tomatoes and leafy vegetables. In Mexico, it will be sold for use on tomatoes, bananas, papayas and a range of other fruits and vegetables. Timorex Gold is registered for use in more than 25 countries, Stockton points out. It expects approvals in the US and Brazil next year and in western Europe by 2017.
