US beekeepers urge court to revoke sulfoxaflor approval

The US EPA's registration of the insecticide, sulfoxaflor, has run afoul of federal pesticide law and should be revoked, US beekeepers and honey producers argue in their opening brief in a lawsuit challenging the Agency's decision. Sulfoxaflor is a "starkly toxic and insufficiently studied pesticide", the plaintiffs contend, suggesting that approval of the insecticide poses undue risks to bees and other pollinators.
