Dow debuts combination soybean herbicide in US

Dow AgroSciences has introduced a new soybean herbicide in the US based on established active ingredients. Surveil Co-pack combines Surveil V (flumioxazin 51%) and Surveil FR (cloransulam-methyl 84%). It is recommended for use pre-planting or pre-emergence at 1.8-3.6 oz/acre (128-255 g/ha) for residual weed control. The herbicide is particularly effective against marestail (Conyza canadensis ), Palmer amaranth (Amaranthus palmeri) and other "high-anxiety" weeds, including those with resistance to glyphosate, Dow says.
