Engage Agro/Sulphur Mills in US service deal
Canadian agrochemical company Engage Agro's US subsidiary, Engage Agro USA (Prescott, Arizona), has entered into a service agreement with the Indian agrochemical firm, Sulphur Mills (Mumbai). Initially, the US company aims to develop new markets for Sulphur Mills' fungicide/acaricide, Cosavet (sulfur), which is currently sold for use on grapevines in the western US. Engage Agro will also be involved in the development, sales and marketing plans for the Indian company's fungicides, Buzz Ultra (tebuconazole) and Unicorn (tebuconazole + sulfur), and its insecticide, ImidaShot (imidacloprid). The US is seen as a growth opportunity for Sulphur Mills. "We see this agreement providing excellence in field expertise and support in current and future markets," says Sulphur Mills director Binoy Shah.
