Arysta renames Indian subsidiary
Arysta LifeScience has renamed its Indian subsidiary, Devidayal Sales, as Arysta LifeScience India. It plans to launch its new brand in the coming kharif (summer) season. "This new name provides us with a unique opportunity to rebrand some products in our existing portfolio and bring new proprietary products in line with our long-term strategy," says Arysta LifeScience India managing director S Ganeshkumar. Arysta bought a majority stake in the company in 2011 as a platform for rapid entry into the country and completely acquired it the following year (Agrow No 634, p 2). The company expects continued growth in the around $2,000 million Indian market.
