Arysta launches Everest herbicide in Russia
Arysta LifeScience has launched its herbicide, Everest WDG (flucarbazone 700 g/litre), in Russia for application on winter and spring wheat. Everest can be applied earlier than other grass products in the Russian market, thus providing early removal of weed competition, Arysta says. The company aims to reach a 15% market share in spring wheat weed control. "Arysta LifeScience will pursue the development of Everest, especially on winter wheat, and will study further product mix opportunities in order to increase the spectrum of available options for spring wheat," says the herbicides portfolio manager for Europe and Middle East/North Asia Christophe, Sepulchre de Condé. Russian company CJSC Avgust will be the exclusive distributor of Everest in the country.
