Noposion mulls Chinese adjuvant joint venture
The Shenzhen-based Chinese chemical company, Noposion Agrochemicals, is planning to establish an agrochemicaljoint venture with Fujian Quanzhou Desheng Pesticide. Noposion intends to invest Yuan 5.5 million ($800,000) for a 55% stake in the unnamed company. The joint venture would be dedicated to the research and development of “green, environmentally friendly” pesticide adjuvants, the company says. Noposion saw a 10.5% increase in profit margins for its herbicide business in the first half of last year ( Agrow No 575, p 3).
