The Brazilian agrochemical industry association, the Andef, has appointed João Sereno Lammel as president of its board of management. He will serve a two-year term. Mr Lammel is an agronomist and director of DuPont’s Latin American operations. He has worked for DuPont for 33 years variously in sales, development and marketing. Mr Lammel was voted president of the Andef in December after four years on the board. The association has also appointed Syngenta’s Laércio Giampani, and BASF’s Eduardo Leduc as vice-presidents of its board.
