US OK for Syngenta cereal herbicide
Syngenta has received US approval for a new cereal herbicide based on two established active ingredients. Pulsar (dicamba + Dow AgroSciences’ fluroxypyr) is recommended for post-emergence broadleaf weed control in winter, spring and durum wheat, and barley. The synthetic auxin ais provide alternative modes of action for the control of kochia ( Kochia scoparia) that is resistant to acetolactate synthase (ALS) inhibitors, Syngenta notes. Pulsar is recommended for use at 8.3-12.5 fl oz/acre (0.6-0.9 litre/ha).
