More revisions to US crop groups
The US EPA proposes to make more changes to its crop grouping categories for pesticide tolerance-setting purposes. The planned revision would include a new group for oilseeds and expand existing groups. The proposals arose from four petitions submitted by the International Crop Groupings Consulting Committee via the US minor-use IR-4 project. They are part of an ongoing programme to address hundreds of crops not covered by existing groupings ( Agrow No 522, p 12).
