Bayer CropScience has appointed Fábio Prata, as manager of Brazilian crop protection business across three product groups, fungicides, herbicides and insecticides. He was previously manager of its fungicide business for the citrus fruit, coffee, rice and horticultural crop sectors. The company has appointed Ronaldo Yugo to replace him. Bayer has further appointed Eduardo Mazzieri, as fungicide manager for the cotton, rice, soybean and wheat sectors, and Cassiano Bronzatti for its herbicide business in the country. Mr Mazzieri was previously manager of the herbicide business for four major crops, while Mr Bronzatti headed Bayer’s price strategy in crop protection.
