Bayer debuts Tundra herbicide in Canada
Bayer CropScience has introduced the broad-spectrum cereal herbicide, Tundra (pyrasulfotole 15.5 g/litre + fenoxaprop-P-ethyl 46 g/litre + bromoxynil 87.5 g/litre), in Canada. The post-emergence product is for grass and broadleaf weed control in spring wheat, durum wheat and spring barley at 2 litres/ha. Bayer introduced a similar combination product, Wolverine, in the US last year ( Agrow No 565, p 28). The company launched its first pyrasulfotole-based herbicide, Infinity, in Canada in 2008 ( Agrow No 535, p 22).
