Syngenta launches sedaxane STs in Chile
Syngenta has launched two sedaxane fungicide-based seed treatments in Chile. The treatment, Vibrance (sedaxane), is for maize and sweetcorn, while combined fungicidal and insecticidal treatment, Vibrance Integral (sedaxane + difenoconazole + fludioxonil + thiamethoxam), is a suspension concentrate formulation for use on barley and wheat. The company says that the latter is the first available seed treatment combining fungicides and an insecticide for use on the target crops. Vibrance controls corn smut (Ustilago maydis) and head smut (Sphacelotheca reiliana).
