Fewer ais in EU residue survey
A total of 157 active ingredients will be covered by the EU co-ordinated survey of pesticide residues in food in the 2015-17 programme. This compares with 189 ais in the 2012-14 programme (Agrow No 632, p 6). Adjustments are made to the surveys to reflect the results of previous years, and withdrawals or approvals of ais. The EU programme is run on a three-year basis, covering different crop groups for each of the three years.
