Russian company August to invest in expansion
Russian agrochemical company August is to invest some $150 million in the expansion of capacities at its Russian and Belarusian plants. The company says that the development is required in view of the large growth potential of the Russian crop protection market. August is eyeing overseas expansion, especially in emerging markets. It has applied for approvals in Brazil, and plans to grow in China, where it has a joint venture with a Chinese company. August says that it recorded a revenue increase of 20% in 2013.
