BASF to debut Priaxor in western Canada
BASF is to introduce its fluxapyroxad (trade-marked as Xemium)-based fungicide, Priaxor (fluxapyroxad + pyraclostrobin), in western Canada in 2015. It will be available for use on canola, pulses, maize, soybeans and flax (linseed). BASF confirmed the Canadian approval of Priaxor for use on maize and soybeans last year (Agrow No 671, p 29). The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Agency approved six fluxapyroxad-based products in 2012 (Agrow No 648, p 20). They included Priaxor for use on maize, soybeans, canola, pulses and flax, and Priaxor DS for pulse crops.
