Brazil liberalises agchem import condition

Conditions on the import of pesticides into Brazil have been liberalised while making importers responsible for safety.  The Ministry of Agriculture has amended normative instruction 19/2013, governing the import of pesticides to set the condition, which had required that re-imported products have at least eight months of shelf life remaining as established by Brazilian environmental conditions.  Paragraph one has been amended to read: "re-importation ‘under the heading’ may be made at any time within the shelf life of the product, getting the registrant company responsible for ensuring their quality and stability."
