Paraguay to sue unregistered agchem importer
Paraguayan authorities have found some 7 tonnes of pesticide at an airport in the possession of an unregistered for pesticide imports company, Tree Hard. The plant health inspection service, the Senave, has analysed samples of the load apprehended at Paraguay Guarani international airport, finding it to contain 62% concentration of metsulfuron methyl. The herbicide was found on pallets in air-conditioned boxes of ten 1 kg packets without identifying labels. The Senave has sent a report onto the public prosecutors, and is to start its own administrative process against the company.
