Dow recommends improved glyphosate adjuvants:

Dow Chemical is recommending the use of two adjuvants manufactured by its US subsidiary, Hampshire Chemical, as more effective and safer than tallow amine ethoxylate surfactants used in some glyphosate formulations. N-acyl sarcosine and N-acyl sarcosinate, which are sold under the Hamposyl trade mark, are the only new surfactants to have received a US tolerance exemption for use in glyphosate formulations under the US Food Quality Protection Act, Dow points out. Glyphosate formulations containing 4% of the Hamposyl surfactants are as effective as products containing 16% of tallow amine ethoxylates, while presenting reduced eye irritation and aquatic toxicity, the company claims.
