China's six-month agchem exports up 11%
China’s six-month agrochemical exports (100% active ingredient, delivery value) increased by 11% to Yuan 19,681 million ($3,170 million at the current rate), according to the National Bureau of Statistics and reported by the China Crop Protection Industry Association. Export data were collated from 836 pesticide companies, divided into 704 exporters of chemical pesticides, and 132 “biopesticide” and microbial pesticide exporters. Chemical pesticide exports were up 11.4% to Yuan 19,338 million ($3,115 million), with exports of biopesticides falling 6.6% in value to Yuan 343 million ($55 million). Exports in June alone increased by 3.7% to Yuan 3,106 million ($500 million).
