Brazil’s GMO adoption to increase in 2014/15
Brazilian growers are to increase their adoption of genetically modified crops in the coming 2014/15 season, newswire Reuters reports. It cites figures from the consultancy, Celeres. The cumulative planting of GM cotton, maize and soybeans is to rise 3.9% to 42.2 million ha on Celeres' first estimates of the season. That would put the adoption rate for GM lines of the three crops at 89.2%.
