Noposion to invest in pesticide discovery and marketing
Chinese company Shenzhen Noposion Agrochemicals plans to raise Yuan 733.1 million ($118.8 million at the current rate) for investment in a range of projects including agri-produce marketing and pesticide creation. The money will be raised by issuing no more than 110 million shares. Some Yuan 291.3 million ($47.2 million) will be earmarked for an “online to offline” agri-produce marketing platform that will “integrate [the company’s] marketing resources” over a three-year construction period. Noposion predicts that the platform will contribute Yuan 957.6 million ($155.2 million) to annual revenues and Yuan 98.2 million ($15.9 million) to annual profit.
