Canada OKs BASF's Nealta acaricide

The Canadian Pest Management Regulatory Authority (PMRA) has confirmed the approval of BASF's acaricide, Nealta (Otsuka Chemical's cyflumetofen), for use on pome fruit, grapevines, strawberries and tomatoes. It is for the control of European red mites (Panonychus ulmi), two-spotted spider mites (Tetranychus urticae) and McDaniel spider mites (T mcdanieli). The PMRA proposed the approval in late March (Agrow No 686, p 19).
