Bayer debuts Luna fungicides in Iberia
Bayer CropScience has launched fluopyram-based benzamide fungicides in Spain and Portugal. The company has debuted the active ingredient in Portugal alone as Luna Privilege and in combination with tebuconazole as Luna Experience. Both are suspension concentrate formulations. Luna Privilege is for use on grapevines for the control of grey mould (Botrytis cinerea). The combination product is for the control of powdery mildew on several crops including grapevines, peaches, apples, nectarines and plums, among other diseases. It has also launched the combination product in Spain. Luna Experience was first launched two years ago in Turkey, and in Italy last year (Agrow No 670, p 34).
