Bayer debuts Hussar Plus in Uruguay
Bayer CropScience has launched a new combination herbicide, Hussar Plus (iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium 50 g/litre + mesosulfuron-methyl 7.83 g/litre + mefenpyr-diethyl safener), in Uruguay for use on wheat. Hussar Plus is an oil dispersion formulation for the control of common wild oats (Avena fatua) and ryegrass (Lolium spp), and broad-leaved weeds, requiring only one application. It debuted in neighbouring Argentina last year. The established Hussar, which carries single active ingredient iodosulfuron-methyl-sodium, was launched over a decade ago in Argentina.
