EFSA consults on agronomic traits of GM crops
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has opened a public consultation on draft guidance on the agronomic and phenotypic characterisation of genetically modified plants. The aim of the guidance is to assist applicants in the generation, analysis and interpretation of the agronomic/phenotypic dataset submitted as part of their applications for EU approval. It will supplement the general guidelines on the risk assessments of food and feed from GM plants, and the environmental impact. Comments are requested by November 6th 2014.
