Brazil Bahia state court OKs emamectin use on earworms

Brazilian state Bahia’s Court of Justice has approved the sale and use of emamectin benzoate insecticide for the control of earworms (Helicoverpa armigera). The decision should overturn a move of the public prosecutor’s office last year to ban the insecticide’s use in the state.
