Platform completes Chemtura AgroSolutions purchase

The US specialty chemical company, Platform Specialty Products (Miami, Florida), has completed its acquisition of Chemtura AgroSolutions for some $1,000 million. The deal was agreed in April. The purchase price comprised $950 million in cash and 2 million shares of Platform's common stock. Platform has established additional loans of $130 million and €205 million ($256 million) to partly fund the acquisition.
