Bayer debuts Musketeer in Portugal
Bayer CropScience has debuted a new systemic herbicide formulation based on two established active ingredients in Portugal. Musketeer (diflufenican + iodosulfuron) is an oil dispersion formulation for the control of Conyza spp in olive groves. The herbicide provides selective and “longer” residual control, and pre- and post-emergence applications can be made, Bayer says. The “complementary” modes of action permit the herbicide's use as part of an IPM programme, reducing the potential for resistance, it adds.
