DuPont India introduces anti-counterfeiting solutions

DuPont India has introduced two technology solutions to tackle illegal and counterfeit pesticides sold under its brand in the country. DuPont Izon is a secure authentication technology in the form of a visible 3-D security system with a unique code that helps farmers identify DuPont crop protection brands. Izon works in conjunction with a web-based verification system or an SMS-based verification system, whereby the farmer can send a text to a phone number to validate the authenticity of the product. The second solution is DuPont Traceology, a cloud-based product verification system tracking products and providing critical information such as batch, lot, and part number to verify products.
