DuPont opens crop research centre in India
DuPont India has opened a multi-crop research centre at Hyderabad, India. It is spread over 100 acres (40 ha) and will accommodate up to 120 researchers engaged in maize, rice, millet, mustard and cotton hybrid seed development. “The new research facility will play a pivotal role in understanding regional challenges, weather changes, soil types and applying science to develop higher yielding products suitable to the Indian environment,” says DuPont South Asia & ASEAN president Balvinder Singh Kalsi.
