New Zealand sets review priorities

The New Zealand Environmental Risk Management Authority (ERMA) plans to consider the reassessment of the insecticide, fenamiphos, and the fungicide, benomyl, during the next two years. It expects to complete the review of the fumigant, methyl bromide, and to continue reassessments of the insecticides, acephate, diazinon, dichlorvos, methamidophos and trichlorfon. Work will also continue on generic reassessment of anti-fouling paints, spray drift management and domestic use of anti-coagulant vertebrate toxic agents (VTAs).
