Noposion sales jump 23% in 2009
Chinese company Shenzhen Noposion Agrochemicals recorded a 23.1% rise in agrochemical sales to Yuan 1,292.4 million ($189.6 million at the current rate) in 2009 following sales from several acquisitions. The sales increase came as a contrast to the general decline in revenues and profit in many other large-scale Chinese companies last year ( Agrow No 584, p 18). Noposion’s net profit rose by 46.4% to Yuan 157.1 million ($23 million). Noposion deals in the research, manufacture and sale of agrochemical formulations and relies wholly on Chinese domestic sales.
