Syngenta debuts Elatus in Argentina

Syngenta has launched its fungicide, Elatus (benzovindiflupyr - trade-marked as Solatenol + azoxystrobin), in Argentina for use on peanuts, national media report. It is for the control of leaf spot diseases (Cercospora arachidicola Hori and Cercosporidium personatum). Benzovindiflupyr is a succinate dehydrogenase inhibitor that acts without cross-resistance to strobilurins and triazoles. The product was launched two years ago in Bolivia and Paraguay, and earlier this year in Brazil.
