Nihon Nohyaku lines up new products
Nihon Nohyaku hopes to start sales of two new insecticides in Japan this year, subject to registrations. The first is Accel (metaflumizone), which controls lepidopteran and coleopteran pests. The company gained Japanese registration last year for a 25% wettable powder formulation, Accel Flowable, for the control of diamondback moths ( Plutella xylostella) on cabbages and Chinese cabbages, and has applied for other uses. The product has not yet been commercialised, but Nihon Nohyaku plans to start manufacturing it soon.
