Lier Chemical mulls Jiangsu Kuaida merger
Chinese agrochemical company Lier Chemical is planning a merger with agrochemical company Jiangsu Kuaida Agrochemical, reports the Chinese newspaper, China Securities. The auditing and evaluating work on Jiangsu Kuaida is nearing completion, Lier Chemical has revealed. The company’s shares are currently suspended, and it will issue weekly updates on the progress of the merger plan. Lier Chemical is China’s largest manufacturer and exporter of chlorinated pyridine herbicides, while Jiangsu Kuaida is the country’s largest producer of urea herbicides, Chinese media report.
