Isagro shareholders merge to create controlling stake
Italian agrochemical company Isagro (Milan) has completed the “merger” of its holding company, Manisa, with Holdisa and BasJes Holdings. This week’s move incorporates Manisa and Holdisa into BasJes, and gives the company majority voting rights at 53.7% in Isagro. Basjes has been renamed Holdisa. The merger was agreed in October, following sales of Manisa shares to the other two companies earlier in the year. Piemme owns 51% of the new company, Holdisa, while US agrochemical company Gowan owns the rest.
