Commercial group organises 2,4-D training in Brazil
A group of companies are co-operating on the training of 2,4-D herbicide applications in Brazil, national media report. ChemChina subsidiary Adama Agricultural Solutions, Argentine company Atanor, Dow AgroSciences and Nufarm have offered 74 training programmes this year through Iniciativa 2,4-D. The training supplied information on the active ingredient, its chemical-physical characteristics, regulatory situation, toxicity studies, resistance management, safety in the field, and the importance of application technology in different weather conditions. The herbicide is under threat from legal action against its registration in Brazil.
