Brazil Anvisa OKs three sugar cane extensions
The Brazilian health surveillance agency, the Anvisa, has approved use extensions for three pesticide active ingredients to sugar cane. They are for the herbicide, picloram, and the fungicides, azoxystrobin, and cyproconazole. Picloram is approved for post-emergence use, while the fungicides have been registered as foliar applications. Picloram is also approved as a post-emergence application for pasture, rice and wheat, while azoxystrobin is registered as a foliar application on another 35 crops, and cyproconazole on 18.
