Sipcam 2009 business dips 4%
Italian agrochemical company Sipcam-Oxon (Milan) posted a 4.1% fall in revenues to €331 million ($428 million at the current rate) in 2009 compared with the previous year. That followed a jump in sales of about a third in 2008 ( Agrow No 574, p 11). Agrochemicals accounted for 89% of last year’s business. Chemical intermediate sales fell further behind to under €10 million ($13 million), following the trend of recent years.
